If you use the contact form, we receive your name, email address, the topic you pick and your message. We use this only to reply to you and to improve our guides. We do not sell it or add you to a mailing list.
Newsletter
If you sign up for our newsletter, we store your email address and the page you signed up from. We use it only to send new guides and seasonal reminders. Every email will include a way to unsubscribe, and you can ask us to delete your address at any time through the contact page.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, our server records basic technical data for each visit, such as your IP address, browser type, the pages you view and the time of the visit. We use it to keep the site running, secure and fast.

Links to other websites
Our guides link to manufacturer manuals and other sources. Those sites have their own privacy policies, and we are not responsible for how they handle your data.
How long we keep data
We keep contact form messages for as long as needed to answer them and improve guides, and no longer than two years. Server logs are kept for a short period for security.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Depending on where you live, such as California under the CCPA/CPRA, you may have extra rights, including the right to know, to delete and to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. Children
This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when our practices change. The effective date at the top shows when it was last changed.
